Dear Listeners,
Happy New Year to you! I wish and hope all good things for you in 2026 and, above all, sweet restful sleep and peaceful dreams.
Poor Oleg's story has been waiting to be told for a while now, so I am glad you're getting to meet him at last. However, I must warn you that we join him as he passes through what may have been the lowest point in his life, and it's all to do with a certain Clara. Trigger warning: there is some alcohol in this tale. There is also joy and there is music, and I hope that it is ultimately uplifting as intended: things shall be well in the end.
Thank you for listening and having such patience to keep listening out for new episodes through a very lean year in 2025. As always, I aspire to write and release so much more in the coming seasons. Here's, perhaps, an auspicious start to the year.
Sweet dreams to you and all who are dear to you,
Seymour

Thank you so much for the New Year’s treat. I picked up my phone and Stories from the Borders of Sleep appeared on my screen with a story whose name I did not recognize. Could it be? I was like a child opening a gift on Christmas morning, hoping that what I was wishing for would come true. It did! I’ll listen to it as I go about my late morning tasks here in California.
ReplyDeleteWow - that was very quick! I just uploaded it minutes ago. And, of course, you are very welcome! Thank you for listening and for your ever-enthusiastic encouragement. May all your tasks be comfortably fulfilled.
DeleteThe timing was great for me.
DeleteSpoiler Alert: this comment mentions some story content. Thank you for portraying honestly how cider influenced Oleg’s behavior and feelings. And the power of the fiddler’s music to transform Oleg’s emotional state was spot on for me. Once again, you give a place where I, as a sensitive person, can feel at home and not alone in how I move through the world - although cider is only a lovely and refreshing drink for me. Now, a delicious piece of dessert is another thing…
